Sandra’s and Donath’s Florist provided superior customer service by contacting me to ensure that my order to be delivered to a funeral home was timely and informed me that the arrangement was sensitive to cold weather. The arrangement was beautiful and I’m so glad that I placed my order directly with them. When the need arises for a Florist in NYC, I will place my order with Sandra’s and Donath’s.

I ordered three small arrangements for Thanksgiving. They arrived on time, and looked exactly as pictured. They made my Thanksgiving table look beautiful, and then the flowers lasted for almost a week, so we were able to enjoy them long after the holiday had passed. I will definitely use Sandra's & Donath's again!

Ordered a dozen roses in a vase for my wife on Valentines Day from 1-800 FLOWERS and they messed up...big time. I received a single rose instead and it was from Sandra's and Donath's. I called and as busy as they were, they made it right at 8:20 PM the eve of Valentines Day. The manger got on the phone with me to explain the problem and Rebecca delivered it herself because she felt so bad they messed up. AMAZING! They have earned my business.

There are several hospitals in the area, and a handful of florists nearby. When I brought our baby home, my in laws got a beautiful arrangement from here, and I absolutely loved it. So, we started getting flowers from them because my husband and I want to promote and support local business. My husband is romantic & handwritten note kind of guy, got flowers from them for all of our celebrations. Every Mother’s Day, birthdays, promotions...etc. I have been happy with their work- the flowers are of great quality, properly hydrated and kept, good color sensibility, and fantastic composition.

I received another arrangement for Mother’s Day this year another $200 range (pictured below ).
1. Delivery guy refused to bring up to our APT and left with our concierge on mother’s day morning.
2. By 6pm same day, one of the hydrangeas started wilting.
3. I called the florist next day, and was promised that the wilting flower would be replaced. And was instructed to leave the arrangement with concierge the next day.
4. Although it was promised that it would get replaced and redelivered by mid afternoon, the original arrangement was still there when I came home from work.
5. Called to check status, 2nd call, no apologies for delay instead, met with annoyed Employee who said they were aware of the tardy.
6. Arrangement was redelivered later that evening, and again, left with concierge. Another refusal of door to door delivery.
7. “New” (with several dying flowers replaced) was.. utterly disappointing to say the least. Did not get the same color scheme flowers which made the whole thing look so amateur and cheap.

As a repeat customer, I don’t feel that I need to make a third phone call for one arrangement. Through this, my husband, who just wanted me to be happy and to enjoy the flowers, had to see me get upset over wilting and dying flowers within hours of delivery. I really wanted to like their work, but, I don’t even want it in my place.

I was pleasantly surprised with the florist Sandra and Donath in Manhattan! I called and was greeted very courteously on the phone, and I told them I would like an elegant arrangement within my budget, to be delivered the same day st an address which was about 1/2 hour away by car. Also I requested that I would like to see a picture of the arrangement before it would be delivered.
I was so pleased to see the beautiful yet elegant arrangement within my budget, too!!

I cannot say enough good things bout Sandra’s & Donath’s Florist. Erika and her team are amazing and very creative. They will work with your budget and come up with the most gorgeous creations. They have done a spectacular job with our tree pits and window boxes. It added so much beauty and charm to our building!
