The team at Grand Florist went the extra mile for my daughters wedding. They designed and provided the flowers for the arch (picture) and secured them and provided all of the flowers for the tables, bridesmaids and groomsmen and everything looked spectacular. There were flowers at each of the aisles at the wedding ceremony that looked terrific. The creative design and effort the Grand Florist team put into assembling and delivering the flowers to the venue was extraordinary. Thank you so much Elizabeth!!

I ordered flowers from From You Flowers online and I saw
The card on the flowers came from Grand Florist. Not only were they 3 hrs late and I had to call to see what happened but the arrangement looked shabby the roses were tiny and few I was totally embarrassed. The one on left is what I ordered the one on right is what was delivered to funeral home.

It's actually funny and sad at the same time because as I see the reviews, I see that I am not the only one who is getting scammed. The funny part is that how can they have the audacity to send you something nothing that remotely looks like the picture of what you are paying for. This is the worst florist I've ever done business with. if you look at the picture, they stuck the bow inside the arrangement to make it look fuller. The nerve. The picture actually looks good compared to what it actually looks like so you can just imagine.the third picture is What I ordered. The rest is what I actually got. And yes I paid for the fullest premium arrangement . Don’t do it. Yelp shows others who has had the same experience as I have.

This Florist doesn't even deserve the one star. Such a shame, years ago they had an excellent reputation and never disappointed. I recently ordered from them to deliver a birthday gift for a friend and was appalled at what was sent.

I ordered flowers through 1800flowers. Grand Flourist was the company that botched the arrangement that I ordered. I called Grand Florist to ask about the issue and the wouldn’t even accept responsibility! They said “we just put together the orders we receive from 1800flowers” I ordered the Premium Pink Splendor and did not get that. See photo for reference.

I hate to leave a negative review but I must. I have received a fruit basket from a neighbor 3 years in a row from the Grand Florist in Maspeth. I have been disappointed every time but I feel bad telling my neighbor. After today I don’t have a choice. The proof is in the pudding. Hopefully Grand Florist learns from this. Checkout the pics. I say no more.

First time getting flowers from here. The delivery person was soooo nice! Especially this time of year when it is so crazy! He tried reach me several times by phone (unfortunately I was out) and he left my flowers some place safe!
And the themselves were lovely!

GRAND RIPOFF. My in-laws had flowers delivered to us from Germany for Christmas and were in shock at what we ultimately received. The "bouquet" we received was off by a long shot, starting with the $.99 fish bowl vase instead of the red medium vase they ordered to the complete lack of roses in the bouquet (see pics). We received a bouquet of cheap carnations and gerber daisies. Gross misrepresentation. Maybe they thought by having an order placed by someone out of the country, this was something they could get away with? Not sure, don't care.

When I reached out to the store the Saturday after Christmas, to call them out on their bait and switch, the VERY RUDE male with a Greek accent offered no apology, took my information and said he would look up the order and call me back. After 2 hours I called back to get a status and he told me I would have to wait until Monday because he was busy filling orders. I told him that was it was unacceptable since the the order had been placed weeks ago and they were already paid for their service.
He insisted I had to wait until Monday, and came up with multiple reasons why it was not their fault: (1) I should have called them sooner (I did not know there was a such a huge discrepancy with the order until after Christmas when I was provided with a picture of the intended bouquet), (2) it was not their fault because it was placed online and should contact Teleflora, and (3) my in laws should call then from Germany to rectify this not me. I informed him that based on other reviews this was a conman practice and said I need a call back sooner than Monday or I would visit the store myself. He then promised someone would get back to me before 2pm the next day. Which someone did and basically, although she was much more cordial, passed the buck and told me they received the order from a florist in CT. Which makes zero sense. When asked if she could email me the order from them to their store so I could understand where the miscommunication occurred, and was first told no, and then I could possibly receive it via e-mail if I didn't have a fax machine (hello, 1985). Still waiting...I don't recommend this place in the least. Send a fruit basket instead of using this place!
