Gelson's is a grocery store much like Whole Foods Market, Trader Joe's or Sprouts. They offer standard market items as well as a variety of unique gourmet items.

They also make and offer a variety of soups, sandwiches, roasted turkey, salmon, pot roast, etc. Some items, such as their poke ($20.99 lb), can get pricey, however their prepared meals for 2 are a great deal and range between $15 to $25.

It's a great place to shop, but be prepared to spend a bit more money, especially if purchasing gourmet items.

Yeah!! Gelson's now carrying Cool Pressed Sugarcane Juice. Rep. is in the store today with buy 2 get 1 free. He's here till closing. Great deal, come by and take advantage of this deal. In produce department.

Ordered holiday brisket package. Mostly fat with meat marbled through. Disappointing like most places now. Pay more for less quality and smaller portions. Next time, I'll choose my own meat from Costco and cook myself.

We ordered a pre-made holiday Boneless Prime Rib. This is the third year we’ve ordered it. The second year I picked it up they forgot to include the separate juice bag needed for preheating. I returned to the store and they apologized and gave it to me. Today (third time) I again picked up the Prime Rib and noticed it again didn’t have the separate juice bag needed for preheating. I asked the guy passing them out and he said this year the juice was included in the actual Prime Rib and was not separate. I asked him if it changed from last year and he said yes. Needless to say, the Prime Rib, which was supposed to be the main dish, was tasteless at our Thanksgiving dinner. One thing is paying $220 for a prime rib that was tasteless, another is having a disappointing dinner for thanksgiving with guests.

The store was clean and well organized. The produce department was arranged neatly and the v produce department looked fresh. a great variety of hard to find items.

The staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The bakery staff was outstanding.

Who is always a pleasant experience shopping at Gelson’s. The employees are very friendly, helpful and kind. They offer so many different items and the quality of food is superb.

I go here every few days, mostly for their prepared salad. This place is definitely expensive. I usually buy some protein from ma and pa's, and then go here and get some
Side dishes like chinese slaw Jessica's antioxidant salad.And other things, they have some pretty good stuff here again, it's a little bit pricey, though

Lovely supermarket，I like the poke dish assemble by your fever and can take out went to front doors or 2nd floor cozy place to eat. You can select salad、BBQ chicken、fly chicken、hand made pizza⋯⋯etc，it is a special supermarket！Here is very nearby mother beach，we can pick up delicious food from here to picknic！
