Ok…let’s do this. Location, well it’s Cartersville. Enough said. I’ve lived in Cartersville, and I love the town. It’s not a big town or city, so..,that is why I expected Food City to impress. My one and only visit on a Saturday afternoon is that it resembled a low end Publix. Publix is good, prices are somewhat higher. So, Food city, let’s do this, are the discounts worth it for me? Well… I like good tasting food. There is a a balance on cost and price. For the price of the chicken wings in the photo, Im not convinced. The wings taste metallic. But again, that is my fault, the wings were on sale… duh. I purchased more wings at the “salad bar” ok…. So if you are going to fry wings with batter, why put hot wing sauce on them? Gross! It’s either fried breaded wings or Hot wings, don’t try to do both at the same time !!!!!! The unbreaded wings are fatty…gross. I tried reheating both in the air fryer to make the skin more crisp, didn’t work. Food City is a micro step above Piggly Wiggly or Sav a Lot. For convenience (location) I give them 5 Stars. ? Thanks for helping with cities that have food deserts ❤️ As much as I value convenience, I don’t see another reason to visit, at least not for anything on the salad bar. Go to Ingles to get your money’s worth, and be tastefully happy.

I don't really like this store. It is about the highest priced store in Cartersville. I mean, prices are high anywhere, but the prices here scare me. The employees look unhappy and are unfriendly. Everytime I have decided to give them another try, I have another bad experience. Every time. I mean, they will be out of bananas on the day I need them the most. Or its, their chicken salad is 9.99 a pound when I'm really craving some. I have not had one complete satisfactory grocery shop here, and I have been about 12 to fifteen times since they have opened and that's because I live around the corner. I just keep hoping they will get better.

On my first visit here I was a little overwhelmed! Starbucks, beer and wine bar, fresh food bar and so much more !!! The store was very easy to navigate and a lot of great options. I believe the presentation of the fresh produce was outstanding! Store was clean and everything seemed to be well maintained. I will be back and may even change this to my reoccurring grocery store.

I would rate lower if offered. I went to the store tonight for some items. This has happened on several occasions at this store. First went to the deli for some sandwich meat and took forever to get help. We asked three different people about an item and all with no response except u can ask the manager. So needless to say no luck. I went to meat department to get some steaks. Again I asked for them to be wrapped differently. This is the only store in Cartersville that the meat department is lazy and has an attitude. They first took them to rewrap and the other man I guess talked him out of it. Then I spoke to Assistant Store manager he said I guess I can wash my hands and do it this time. It’s like doing a favor instead of there job all along the other two meat cutters talking under their breath about the situation. Then to top it off they left out a can of soup I had paid for. A long post but it needs to be said they need help in customer service.

This is a well stocked store in a great location. I'm so glad to have a grocery store closer to my house now. They have great prices and great clearance items (my favorite way to shop). Their donuts are yummy and creative. They also have great smoked and fried chicken you can buy when you need something quick for dinner.

This was my go to shopping place, but not anymore. Twice now we've had a confrontation with the manager. Both times it was off hours with 6 open self checkouts and he's insisting that we might have more than 15 items and can't use self checkout. My husband really wanted to show him the receipt which showed less than 15 items, but neither of us are as rude and confrontational as that manager so we'll just go back to Walmart where at least the prices match the service. (Not a dig at Walmart employees, I just mean I've never had one let power go to their head like here at food city where I feel like I'm paying extra to be harassed).

They have an already made sugar free cake. The place is nice and the prices are reasonable compared to other places. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

Kani in the bakery dropped everything he was doing to help me!! He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Highly recommend- this level of customer service will have me coming back!!
