We thought we smelled gas and had a leak, so we contacted the emergency line. They sent out Service Technician, Peter (Pete), I wish I got his employee number. He was awesome!! Thank goodness we didn't have any leaks. Peter went above and beyond with reassuring my mom that there wasn't any leaks. He also noticed our meter could use service and took care of that for us too. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, which gave us the feeling he really cared about our safety and valued our business. He even gave us some helpful tips. Our experience with Pete was a very positive one and he gave outstanding customer service. I hope Florida City Gas knows how valuable of an employee he is. Thanks again Peter (Pete) for your amazing Customer Service.

Good afternoon, I want to leave a review because I just received a gas service in my house where the man helped me a lot. The truth is, I hope all the people are like him. His name is Rafael. He is a magnificent person, super intelligent, attentive and supportive. at all times even when the job is not yours to do. Thank you Rafael for everything and I hope that whenever he has a situation with City Gas he will be the technician.ThANK YOU RAFAEL!!!!!

We switched to gas three years ago since we thought it would be better to have a gas water heater with any outages and/or storms that bring on outages so we would never be without hot water. We bought a Rheem brand, worked like a charm until FCG changed out the gas lines here in Miami Lakes and the last step was them coming back to change the outside meter and come inside to insure our equipment was working probably. Well they came out yesterday, a subcontracted company, All About Gas Service, and they changed out the meter and the regulator on our water heater and then the water heater wouldn't start. What in God's earth did they do to it when it was working perfectly fine! Now we had to order a part that cost us money for expedited shipping since we don't have hot water, and the cost to install the part...what the heck!! This is their fault and now we are getting pushing around like a hot potato between FCG and this subcontracted and FCG has the nerve to say they can't assume responsibility for what the subcontracts do or don't do. What!! You subcontract them!!! How can you say you can't assume responsibility for what they do!! We are beyond pissed and if it weren't because my husband retired last year, and we have an adult autistic son that requires a lot of attention, I'm very limited in what work I can do other than caregiver for him, I would honestly switch back to electric!! I'm just disgusted!! I don't recommend anybody switching to gas...at all!!

If i could give it zero start I would. I have been trying to get a gas line installed in my house for over a year and a half. No response from the representative that took measurements and customer service always says "they will expedite the request" and still waiting.

The best utility service ever!! The customer service is top-notch, the gas service never goes out in a storm like the cable, internet, landline and electricity. And the rates can not be beat. Some are afraid of natural gas because of safety concerns, I’ve had gas through Florida City and I have had only great results. Every three years, an inspector comes out to inspect the meter and gas lines to the gone. James came out to inspect today and he answered my questions about safety and gave my equipment his seal of approval. Natural Gas cooks fast, is available to warm water and cook with even during electrical outages. Thanks Florida City Gas, you are number one.

Mr. José Ubano yesterday, came right away to check our pipes & gave some valuable reassuring advise in order to correct the problem!
Today Mr. Peter Snow verified that the corrections are complying appropriately, after revising the gas system & left it working for my Family!
Please commend these gentlemen for their Effective, reassuring Excellence in Service, for they Are a Great reflection of Their Quality of Training that Protects Our Neighborhoods!

Horrible customer service! This is the first utility company that refuses to call a customer 30 minutes prior to arrival. You literally HAVE to take off the whole day because they give appointment with a window from 8-6 pm. I stepped out and missed the guy they sent by 5 minutes. Quickly called customer service and told them to please come back. Absolutely not! I had to reschedule.
